Goals-- January 19-26, 2014

January 19-26, 2014

Goals for the week:
1. Go running twice. It doesn't matter how far, I just have to go. Do sit-ups at least once.
2. Figure out what food I have to cook for dinner this week.
3. Read scriptures daily and write in my scripture journal at least once.
4. Read The Hobbit for 15 minutes.
5. Record any spending. Don't buy anything if it's not on my list.

Checkup on January 23:
1. Went running once (.9 miles in 8:40) and did sit-ups once. I need to run one more time.
2. Failllll I am just eating whatever I can find. I never cooked anything Sunday or Monday
3. I've read every day, but have not written.
4. Haven't done it yet.
5. Still need to record the milk and ice cream I bought

End of the Week:
1. Completed!
2. Failed
3. Read, but never wrote
4. Failed
5. Completed

Resolutions

This year I made five resolutions. They are:
1. Exercise
2. Cook real food
3. Read my scriptures daily
4. Read 7 books (not kids books)--seems small but its more than I read last year
5. Stay financially organized and live within my budget.

However, there is not point in making goals if I don't keep track of how I'm doing. For my literacy class at school, I have to do personal reading and writing (not every day, but at least a few times a week). So, for my personal writing, I will make a small reasonable goal every Sunday to work towards these five things.

Sunday, January 12
1. Go running one time and do sit-ups at least twice this week.
2. Make spaghetti tonight to eat the rest of the week
3. Read my scriptures daily on my ipod
4. Make time to sit and read The Hobbit for 15 minutes this week
5. Keep recording my spending in my spending journal... keep a list of things I need so that I don't make purchases for things I don't actually need.

Sunday, January 19
1.I went running once and did sit-ups once.
2. Made it!
3. Did pretty well, I think I missed one day though
4. Did it!
5. Did it!

1. Divergent--Done
2. My Story --Done
3. The Hobbit --80ish more pages
4. Reread Harry Potter #7/maybe all of them...
5. Reread Ender's Game
